Come out and meet other students, teachers, musicians and music lovers for a fun-filled evening of entertainment and song. We have got a great program of student and professional entertainment lined up so mark it in your calendar and bring your friends.

KC Roberts
KC is an established singer/songwriter in Toronto, having written and recorded 100+ original songs in his career thus far. Since 2007, he has been the leader/singer/guitar player of an 8 piece band called KC Roberts & The Live Revolution (KCLR). KCLR has released 5 full length records, played festivals and shows all over Canada and the U.S, Sold over 3,000 CD’s in Japan, acquired hundreds of thousands of youtube views on their channel, and have a large and loyal fan base across the country. A large portion of KCLR’s fans are musicians, who enjoy the bands writing, arrangements and musicianship. The band unique approach, as well as KC’s writing and arranging, inspire many of the young and older musicians to pursue their instruments and playing in deeper ways. KC is the principal songwriter and musical director of the band, having written most of the horn lines, bass lines, grooves, melodies and chordal harmony and all the lyrics and guitar parts in the band’s catalogue. They just recently finished a 20 day west coast tour starting in Edmonton and ending in L.A. KC’s music is regularly played on CBC radio.
André Valério
Brazilian multi-instrumentalist André Valério is in high demand as a guitarist, composer and arranger. André ‘s versatility has taken him around the world to perform in important music festivals and venues in Canada, the Netherlands, Mexico and Brazil. His interest in music began at a very young age after listening to Brazil’s most enduring musical genres, Bossa Nova. Inspired to compose and arrange since he was a teenager, for many years André studied classical guitar, jazz and latin music among other styles. His deep passion for music led him to learn six instruments: acoustic guitar, piano, mandolin, cavaquinho, bass and electric guitar
Julia Henderson
Julia Henderson is a is a Toronto-born soprano, instrumentalist, composer, producer, and internet artist. She received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Western Ontario where she studied with Canadian tenor Torin Chiles and is currently completing her Master’s in Music Technology and Digital Media at the University of Toronto.
As an opera singer, Julia has performed all over the country, appearing as a soprano soloist for Orchestra London, Opera in Concert, Toronto Operetta Theatre, Summer Opera Lyric Theatre, Opera NUOVA, ORIANA Women’s Choir, and the Metropolitan Church Choir. As a digital recording artist, she has fully produced and released 36 tracks, has performed on 25 tracks and has been credited as a performer or arranger on 14 full-length albums.
In addition to performing, composing, and producing, Julia loves teaching all things music and has been doing so for over a decade. Julia has taught voice, piano, and music theory at a variety of reputable institutions, including the Toronto District School Board. Julia believes that learning through exploration is key and provides a comfortable and nurturing environment in which to explore and have fun through music and song.
George Chenery
George is an electric and acoustic bassist and is one of Toronto’s most in demand young musicians. Moving from his native England in 2007, he attended Humber College’s Bachelor of Music where he graduated with honors and was the recipient of the Bass Faculty Award, The Mike Downes Award and the Yamaha Music Canada Scholarship. While at Humber George also had the chance to work with many inspirational musicians including Grammy Winning producer Al Schmitt, Black Star saxophonist Donny McCaslin and Snarky Puppy’s Larnell Lewis.
George performs regularly around North America with a variety of acts in styles ranging from rock to jazz to bluegrass to R&B. He has supported the legendary Commodores and has held residencies at the Orbit Room and the Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada. George is also a full time member of jazz quartet Lady Be Good, nominated for the 2014 Wedding Industry Expert’s ‘Best Live Band’. Along with his live playing George is in demand as a session player, and has recorded albums for artists including Tara Beier, Daniela Garcia, Lizzie Lyon, Saishubi and Graham Mallany. George can be found performing regularly around Toronto, including weekly with The Hit Pickers at the Cloak and Dagger Irish Pub.
Glen Alan
Glen Alan is an professional musician, composer, recording producer and a passionate music educator. Glen graduated with his Grade 8 Piano Certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music and his Vocal Performance Diploma from Humber College with First Class Honours. Glen has recorded 2 CDs to date and has been playing and recording music professionally in numerous bands and vocal groups for well over 25 years.
A committed humanitarian and environmentalist, Glen’s original material spans a wide range of styles and influences exploring the gamut of human emotion from separation, loss, love, humour, hope and inspiration. Glen Alan’s ‘singing and songwriting style has been compared to Steely Dan, Ben Folds, Queen, the Beatles and Brian Wilson.
Glen Alan has performed and recorded with locally and internationally recognized artists such as Brian Dickinson, Dylan Bell, Tony Nesbitt-Larking, Suba Sankaran, Christopher Plock, Max Senitt, Natalie McMaster, Mark Dubois, Tim Bovaconti, Chris Birkett, Lenny Soloman, Steve Hunter, Jackie Richardson and many others…
