Violin, Piano and Theory Instructor

A native Taiwanese, Heng-Han’s professional violin career has seen him performing around the world including Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Israel, Argentina, America and Canada. Heng-Han’s talent stems from his early formal music education and a deep passion for music. He has won major competitions both in violin, and piano. He recently received his master’s degree from New England Conservatory in Boston, winning second prize in the Concerto Competition and currently holds a piano accompanist position in NEC’s preparatory school.

As a string player, Heng-Han also has considerable experience in chamber music and orchestra playing. He has attended chamber master classes with internationally renowned ensembles such as American String Quartet, New Orford String Quartet and Ebene String Quartet. He also played in numerous professional orchestras such as the Asian Youth Orchestra, National Taiwan Philharmonic and Ontario Philharmonic.

Heng-Han is pursuing his doctorate degree in University of Toronto and holding a teaching assistant positions for Toronto Symphony Orchestra concertmaster Jonathan Crow and University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
