Piano and Vocal Coach

As well as being a songwriter and performer, Robert Graham has worked as a Music Director, pianist, accompanist, vocalist, and vocal coach in numerous professional theatre productions, (most recently "Anne and Gilbert" in Charlottetown), as well as performing with several multi-genre bands and ensembles on two continents. He has toured the UK twice with Canadian roots supergroup "Tanglefoot" (Winner - Best Vocal Group - 2007 Canadian Folk Music Awards) and performed with Australia's "Los Chasquis" and the "Michael George Band" (Kingston Ontario). His own band "The Fairest and Best" currently performs frequently around the GTA performing his award winning songs.

Graham's pop, rock, and soul music has garnered him an Honorable Mention in the 2010 BILLBOARD WORLD SONG CONTEST, a finals placement in the 2012 DALLAS SONGWRITERS ASSOCIATION SONGWRITING ASSOCIATION SONG CONTEST (and a semifinal placement in 2010 and 2013), and a place in the finals of the IRL MIDEM FRANCE 2011 CONTEST.  His songs have also elicited licensing deals in Australia and Italy, been included on several compilation CDs, and appeared in the Canadian feature film "Clean Break" in 2013. His music has been heard on radio stations in several countries.

He has appeared in opening slots for such diverse acts as the Leahy, David Wilcox, Natalie McMaster, KellyLee Evans, Beverley Mahood, Chris Birkett, Shooglenifty, Christian Hansen Band, and the Cowboy Junkies.

Robert currently leads his own choir called "Resa's Pieces Singers" and is accompanist for Markham's "Village Voices" choir. He freelances as a vocal coach and accompanist at Sheridan College, Randolph Academy,  George Brown College, and the Etobicoke School of the Arts.

Robert Graham has lived in British Columbia, Perth Australia and now lives in Toronto, Ontario.
