Pianist DANNY McERLAIN has been working in the Toronto music scene for three decades. In the jazz circle he has shared concert and club venue stages and recorded with major jazz talents including: Dave Young, Don Thompson, Terry Clark, Guido Basso, Peter Appleyard and John MacLeod.

Since 2004 Danny has toured with clarinet soloist BOB DeANGELIS in a tribute show to the late BENNY GOODMAN. Playing major concert stages throughout Canada and the U.S. Shows are with pops symphony under the baton of conductor and arranger JOHN MacLEOD. Venues for the GOODMAN shows include ROY THOMSON HALL and CARNEGIE HALL, NEW YORK (JAN 08).

As piano accompanist Danny works with vocal talents like JACKIE RICHARDSON, GISELE FREDETTE and the renowned Canadian tenor MARK DuBOIS. With Mr. DuBOIS and Ms. FREDETTE concerts have taken place throughout CANADA, the U.S. and BERMUDA. In the theatre world Danny has worked numerous show including: WEST SIDE STORY, THE KING AND I, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, THE WIZARD OF OZ, FOREVER PLAID and THE PRODUCERS.

In the conducting field Danny is musical director and arranger for the CIVIL SERVICE CHOIR (Queen's Park) and the Mississauga based AMBIANCE SINGERS. Also he is musical director for OAKVILLE CHILDREN'S MUSIC THEATRE.
